Dream big in the heart of a small town
New Urban Living
Introducing the 36 new townhomes and six restored loft residences of Kenilworth Park. A traditional neighborhood development just 17 miles from Chicago, the Kenilworth Park townhomes are designed and built for new urban lifestyles. Combining classic architecture with modern design elements, Kenilworth Park offers a strong sense of community within walking distance of a revitalized town center.
Design details
In classic form, our townhomes feature stone and brick facades, long sleek windows with multiple window panes, steeply pitched roofs with architectural grade shingles, prominent timbered gables and, of course, floor plans that blend beauty with modern comfort and convenience. All homes include family rooms, spacious combined living, eating and kitchens areas, two bedrooms, 2 ½ bathrooms and heated two car garages. And, an existing historic building will be gracefully transformed into six enchanting loft residences.
The neighborhood
Railways, bike paths, parks and restored prairie are strong features of the neighborhoods surrounding Kenilworth Park. The community was originally brought to life at the turn of the century with the opening of railway stations on the Elgin and Aurora lines. Both of these artfully preserved stations are now registered with the National Registry of Historic Places, and enhanced by ornamental lighting. And while the daily train whistles have faded with the past, the extensive railway system has been transformed into a wondrous, park-like network of bicycle trails. The north boundary of Kenilworth Park is formed by the Great Western Trail, while the famed Prairie Path is located just a block to the south.
Villa Park
With a population of more than 22,500 people, the Village of Villa Park is actually the blend of two early 20th century communities, Villa Avenue and Ardmore, each with its own downtown business districts. Kenilworth Park townhomes are located in the Villa Avenue District, a block away from the successful Ovaltine redevelopment. Excellent schools, outstanding fire and police protection, advanced medical services, exceptional parks and recreation, along with strong community leadership ensure Villa Park will maintain its small-town appeal for many years to come.
